THE 2023 RADICAL CUP AUSTRALIA schedule is set.
Caught up in the scheduling chaos that has been the 2023 Australian Motorsport season, a five-round Radical Cup calendar has at last been locked in.
The calendar features a series of high-profile events and circuits loved by Radical competitors around Australia.
To run entirely in the second half of 2023, the season starts at Sydney Motorsport Park on 16-18 June.
From there the series’ heads north to return to Queensland Raceway, the scene of two stunning races last season, on 4-6 August.
Both opening rounds will see Radical Cup Australia as one of the headline acts of the all-new Motorsport Australia Trophy Series this year.
A trip to the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit comes on August 18-20 with the PIARC August Access event.
13-15 October will see the championship return to The Bend Motorsport Park for the second time, before heading back to Sydney Motorsport Park on 3-5 November for the season finale’.
That showdown will be staged on the Shannons SpeedSeries and World TCR event at the Western Sydney venue, giving a high-profile platform on which to end the season.
The Motorsport Australia Trophy Series rounds will all be streamed live, while the Sydney decider will feature live broadcast coverage on Stan Sport.
2022 champion Chris Perini will return to defend his title in 2023 in a year that will again feature East-versus-West competition, with the Arise Racing squad from Perth set to tour the country once again.
East-Coast based teams like Garth Walden Racing, Volante Rosso Motorsport, Geoff Forshaw Motorsport Services and a host of privateer runners are currently preparing cars for the new season.
Series and round-by-round entry forms will be available via the all-new Radical Cup Australia website soon.

“It’s been a massive challenging finding the right mixture of dates, venues and events to stage a quality 2023 Radical Cup Australia Series, but we’ve finally got there.
“It’s a compact calendar at a great mix of circuits that our drivers love and that’s the number one objective.
“We were hoping to return to Perth this year, however, unfortunately were unable to find a date that worked – but we are already planning a return in 2024. In the meantime, this calendar will deliver some exciting racing at events that will give us good broadcast exposure and the best possible mix of track time for our competitors.”
